I’ve been doing something I never think of doing before writing an adult story. It’s a romantic adult story. With that said, I think this one is a tough bird. I’m pushing myself through the tough times, trying to persevere. This story is a hard nut. When you write in one genre for a long time and then try something new it’s hard to break into something your not comfortable with. This is something I’m learning.
Learning new things with writing and expressing your emotions, feelings in your writing is the best thing I have learned. This is true for myself. We write our way and have to change it as we are from a different country and our English is different to American. We use different spelling to American. British English and American English is different is a lot of ways, not only the spelling.
I’ve been in the country for fifteen years now and still learning new differences about the American and British spellings. I’m constantly figuring our I need to watch my typing and spelling. One day will set a story in England. Will have a lot of research for that one.
Learning the differences between two countries is difficult at the best of times. When it involves two you know fairly well, it harder than Hades. That’s one of my saying. I have plenty of those sayings. My favourite is ‘Are all Americans like that?’ I know they are not. I like to think American’s are all unique and different like us British, Irish, Welsh and Scottish. I’m half English/Irish. I’d rather say I’m all Irish due to our biological mother. She is Welsh/English. Our father is Irish.
Off the subject of my parents. I need to close for now. happy writing…
