New Idea Development

I’ve decided to try out some new things recently and it’s been hard to do for me. Contractions are my major thing for using in my stories and not using them is extremely hare for me. The thing is it’s alright to use them in your own work if you are comfortable with them.

The point of contractions is to make writing easier for not only the writer but the reader also. The reader needs to be able to understand what the writer had put down onto paper and is trying their hardest to say in a story or whatever they are writing about.

Our problem is we tend to use them whenever we can. Using them is a way of life for us. We made it a new years resolution to try hard to not use them in our stories as much as possible. it’s been harder than we imagined possible. We also are writing a brand new story beginning this weekend.

It involves God and it was inspired of our reading about King Solomon in 1 Kings in the Old Testament. It’s taught us a few things. We learn a lot about reading our bible. The Holy Bible has been a powerful book in inspiring our writing and giving us ideas for stories. This is it for now. Keep writing and make it powerful…
