Can you be a Writer if you Don’t Read?

Can you Truely be a good Writer if you Don’t read? That a good Question?

Can you be a writer if you don’t read? No one is stopping you from being a writer if you don’t read; however, if you truly want to be a GREAT writer, reading is a necessity, not an option. In our opinion we believe you should read in the genre you plan to write in and spread your wings from that. It’s hard if you don’t read to be a GREAT or EXCELLENT writer. You do of course need talent. No college or university is not necessary for being a good writer.

When I began my writing life I had no skill or degree from an American college. I’m from born in Ireland lived half my life in England. My writing career still is in its infancy. I will one day publish one novel and dedicated it to my true mum, my Mother-In-Law.
