New Story – LGBT?

I thought I’d try my hand at an LGBT story. I’m LGBT myself. I have always wanted to write an LGBT story with a twist, featuring a character with a disability. One of the characters has a sibling who is in a wheelchair. I want to make this story my first LGBT story featuring a disabled character. I have written a story featuring a character with a disability. Now this is another story I’m going to try. This will be outside my comfort zone.

This is a teen story. With a lot of teenage characters and perhaps some bullying, and overcoming that bullying. I’m hoping to push my boundaries into another dimension. This will be a fun story to write as I’m gay and have been in a wheelchair since I was 18 years old. I’m not sure how long it will take me to write, research, and gather some of the facts about the teenager’s life in high school and college/university.
