Current W.I.P.

My current W.I.P.— Patchwork Family

Victoria took her daughter Shannon from England to Indiana, America as she had terminal cancer. She only had two months or less to live. She hadn’t told her daughter how long she had left to live. She was going to tell her when they got to Harborne, Indianapolis. Victoria had booked the flight there. They were to leave the next day.

When they arrive in Harborne, Indianapolis, Indiana. They were met by Judy, Joe and Scott, their oldest boy.  When her mother told her to be on her best behavior. Shannon smiled at the three who her mother was talking to. Shannon didn’t care much at all.

It took Shannon through a loop when her mother died. Shannon never knew it was less than a month. It was too soon. She had to learn to deal with it or run back to England. Who did she know to fly back to England? She knew nobody. This was one thing she had to change to go home.

Slowly she got to know the Stratton family. They became a close family to her. She eventually even like David, the annoying brother out of the bunch of the four brothers. She had four brothers of the bunch. Shannon changed her last name to Stratton; she went clothes shopping with Judy a few times.

This story is going to interesting. I’ll use british slang and spellings that some who will not be aware of the slang and british words will be in the back of the book; also links to various british to american slangs and ldiom.
